5 months already

just realised that F has been with us for 5 whole months today.
Where the time has gone I really don't know.
One thing I am certain of however is that being a family rocks and it's hard to imagine what life was like before.

Well OK, that's not strictly true.

We went out for dinner/lunch a whole lot more, we went out on the razz and drank too much a whole lot more, and we were able to be spontaneous in order to eat/drink too much a whole lot more.

All of that said though, we're thankful that we have such a contented (at least for now) little girl, are a happy family unit and I certainly wouldn't change a single thing :)

like totally stokked

What with F now stuffing everything and anything she can lay her hands on in her gob we decided it was time to start planning for her weaning.

The time is booked for mid April and in preparation we've taken delivery of her new high chair.

It's designed by Stokke, a Scandinavian company and is fully adjust able so should be fine right up until F is fully grown.

The Stokke Tripp Trapp which F loves sitting in
As you can see, there is no tray attached which means that she can actually sit at the table and fully participate in mealtimes with us.

We've popped her in a few times now and she seems to like it.
Will get some photos on the blog v soon.

Recaro me up largely

Wow, please please buy this daddy, I'll look so cool in the back of your car in this beauty!
Browsing tinterweb earlier today looking for the next size up of car seat for F I found the perfect thing.

The Recaro Young Sport ticks all of the safety boxes and has excellent reviews from other other parents.

Oh, and it will match the seats in the GTI a treat too - not that that's a consideration when purchasing car safety equipmet for F you understand... :0)

down under do do

F in her magical crap inducing vest :)Every now and again F seems to get a little off her food and pukey. We have deduced that this is often due to her not having done the business, if you get my drift, for a day or two.

We have however discovered a cure that seems to get everything moving again and will cause great amusement with our dear friend L who we miss terribly because for over a year now she has been living in the Southern Hemisphere.

You see every time we put F in her magnificent glow in the dark Perth vest she craps for England.

L is a qualified nutritionist and was always keen to study my ruthlessly efficient intestines. Really, I seem to be able to process and eject whatever I've eaten or drunk within a matter of minutes sometimes.

She now has her work cut out. Not only does she have two patients to analyse but she's got to do it via SKYPE!

Speak to you very soon L it's been too long.

Lots of love S,K & F xxx
